2004 Woodside Chardonnay
2004 was a warm year for Chardonnay
with frequent hot periods in February which made for a bigger and riper style
than what we are used to here in Bowral. Ripe citrus and stonefruit are
harmonised with butterscotch and vanilla..
The palate is
rounded and generous, with citrus notes, honey nougat, and creamy barrel ferment
complexity.
