Our 2017 Centennial Sauvignon Blanc was grown at an elevated vineyard (850m) in Orange, NSW (Rowlee Vineyard). Due to the warm conditions around harvest we were careful to pick at optimum flavour development, capturing the characteristic crisp acidity necessary in this style. A small percentage of wild fermentation in old barrels has added interesting complexities to the fruit.
There are aromas of passionfruit, red currant, ripe grapefruit, lemonade and some yeasty/ leesy notes.
The palate is crisp and fresh, with pineapple and ripe grapefruit flavours featuring throughout the long and dry finish.
Fantastic as a lunch wine, equally good as an aperitif, great with seafood. Drink now while young and fresh.
