Our Woodside Sauvignon Blanc is grown mainly at our Bowral Vineyards, with 24% of the blend coming from an elevated vineyard (850m) in Orange, NSW.
Many parcels of fruit picked from different blocks and stages of ripeness were kept separate throughout vinification, allowing the selection of the best components for the final blend.
There are youthful varietal aromas of gooseberry, freshly-cut grapefruit, passionfruit, and fresh summer herbs, and juicy and lively palate flavours of ripe grapefruit, gooseberry, kiwifruit, and lychee.
The finish is long, crisp and pure, supported by wonderful tangy grapefruit acidity.
Fantastic as a lunch wine, equally good as an aperitif, great with seafood.
Drink now while young and fresh.
