The fruit for this wine was grown at our Bridgecreek vineyard in Orange at an altitude of 850m, giving the wine cool-climate fruit definition in a full-bodied frame.
The complex nose reveals aromas of black plum, bay leaf and dried herbs, coffee and dark chocolate.
The palate has excellent richness and ripeness, with the typical cool-climate elegance and structure we get from this vineyard.
This full-bodied style has lovely palate weight with rich flavours throughout, and a long satisfying finish.
Great with beef and lamb.
