Our 2014 Woodside Savagnin is made entirely from fruit grown at our Bowral Vineyards in the Southern Highlands. 95% of the juice was fermented in 6 year old French oak barrels, and 5% underwent a wild fermentation in new oak.
The nose shows interesting biscuit/brioche aromas with apple custard.
The palate is ripe and textural, with lovely balance, showing delicious ripe lemon acid flavours through to the finish. This is a very easy wine to drink, pairing well with richer seafood.
