This wine was made entirely from fruit grown in our Bowral Vineyards.
Bright, clear Riesling aromas of green apple, lime, and talcum powder precede a gloriously balanced palate that is harmonious, focused and tight. Lively palate flavours of freshly crushed lime explode in the mouth, finishing with a lingering juicy crispness.
This wine has a slight spritz from preserving as much of the CO2 from fermentation, adding a zingy freshness to the palate.
The 1012 denotes 10% alcohol and 12g/L of residual sugar, yet has a slightly above dry finish as the high natural acidity offsets this sugar.
As this wine has elevated natural acidity, it will age extremely well in the next 10+ years.
Fantastic Summer lunch wine due to its low alcohol level, great as an aperitif, and perfect with Asian inspired seafood dishes with chilli and spice.
Only serve cold.
