Our 2015 Road Block Savagnin is made entirely from fruit grown at our Bowral Vineyards in the Southern Highlands. 96% of the juice was fermented in 6 year old French oak barrels, and 4% underwent a wild fermentation in new oak.
The nose shows interesting biscuit/brioche aromas with lemon custard.
The palate has delicious ripe lemon and lime flavours, with fantastic acid length and finesse. This is a great expression of Savagnin grown in an ideal year.
Pair with richer seafood.
