The fruit for this wine was grown at our Bridgecreek Vineyard in Orange at an altitude of 850m. The nose shows lovely spicy, plummy fruit, with hints of earth and fruitcake.
The fine and medium-bodied palate is soft, supple and rounded, with silky tannins.
This is a gentle and elegant wine, yet has excellent varietal flavour intensity and length.
A great example of high-altitude, cool-climate Merlot grapes ripened to perfection. Serve with roast lamb and slow-cooked beef dishes. Drink now to 2020.
