The fruit in our Limited Release Shiraz is grown at Moppity Vineyard, Hilltops NSW, at 500m altitude. Vines were cropped very lowly producing impeccable ripe fruit - only 125 dozen were produced. Reduced tonnages together with a warmer vintage has produced ripe and powerful Shiraz character with great concentration.
There are full and seductive aromas of cocoa, chocolate, blackberry, spicy dark plum, five-spice, and a sprinkling of ripe herbs.
The full-bodied and concentrated palate has beautiful ripe fruit flavours with silky, ripe tannins and wonderful texture.
This wine is perfect with red meat right now but will harmonise further in bottle over the next 5 years.
For best enjoyment, remove cork and let breathe for an hour before serving.
As this wine was minimally filtered, some harmless crystal have formed.
Drink now until 2025.
