Our 2016 Bong Bong Rosé is made from almost every red variety we produce. A small volume is drained off the red skins a day after crushing to yield a lightly coloured red juice which is subsequently fermented like a white wine.
There are interesting red fruit aromas of cherry, strawberry, tamarillo and red plum, with earthy herbal and toffee notes. The palate is soft, round and generously flavoured with juicy red fruits throughout. Overall, this is a fun and very easy drinking wine.
Great with hors d’oeuvres, or just by itself!
