This wine was made entirely from fruit grown in our Bowral Vineyards.
Bright Riesling aromas of green apple, lime, and talcum powder precede a gloriously balanced, zesty and juicy palate. Lively palate flavours of freshly crushed lime and apple explode in the mouth, finishing with a lingering juicy crispness.
This wine has a slight spritz from preserving as much of the CO2 from fermentation, adding a zingy freshness to the palate.
The 1017 denotes 10% alcohol and 17g/L of residual sugar, giving an off-dry finish.
As this wine has elevated natural acidity, it will age extremely well in the next 10+ years.
Fantastic Summer lunch wine due to its low alcohol level, great as an aperitif, and perfect with Asian inspired seafood dishes with chilli and spice.
Only serve cold.
