Depending on the season, our estate-grown Pinot Gris vines either make a lighter styled wine (Pinot Grigio), or a riper, heavier style (Pinot Gris), or both.
To add both aromatic and textural complexity to the core of yellow and red apple flavours, a small percentage was wild fermented in old French Oak.
On the nose there are aromas of red and yellow apple, with subtle pineapple/guava, and hints of baked apple and almond pastry.
The palate is juicy, light and crisp. Red delicious apple and kiwifruit flavours run the full length of the palate. The finish is gentle and satisfying, and dangerously easy to drink, making for the perfect summer wine. Drink now to 2018, serve with fresh summer seafood and salads.
