This wine was made entirely from fruit grown at our Road Block vineyard in Bowral.
Characteristic cool-climate Riesling aromas of lime and green apple set the scene for a gloriously balanced palate boasting lively natural acidity and pure citrus flavour.
Crisp and zesty palate flavours of freshly crushed lime excite the palate, finishing with a lingering juicy crispness.
This wine has a slight spritz from preserving some of the CO2 from fermentation, adding a zingy freshness to the palate.
The 116 denotes 11% alcohol and 6g/L of residual sugar: the high natural acidity offsets this sugar, leading to a juicy finish.
As this wine has elevated natural acidity, it will age well in the next 5+ years.
Fantastic Summer lunch wine due to its low alcohol level, great as an aperitif, and perfect with sushi.
Only serve cold.
