Our 2016 Reserve Rosé is made from many red varieties with the lion’s share coming from Merlot and Cabernet.
A small volume is drained off the red skins a day after crushing to yield a lightly coloured red juice, which is subsequently fermented like a white wine.
There are lovely red fruit aromas of cherry, strawberry and plum, with savoury herbal notes. The palate is dry, yet generously flavoured and well balanced, with excellent fleshy texture throughout.
Overall, this is a more serious style of Rose, perfect with hors d’oeuvres, and capable of standing up to fuller-flavoured foods.
Serve chilled. Drink now to 2018.
