The fruit in our Limited Release Shiraz is grown at Moppity Vineyard, Hilltops NSW, at 500m altitude. Vines were cropped very lowly producing impeccable ripe fruit. Only 160 dozen were produced. Reduced tonnages together with a warm and dry vintage has produced a ripe, bright and powerful Shiraz with great concentration and balance.
There are beautiful, vibrant, spicy dark fruit aromas enhanced with roasted meats and seductive hints of cocoa. The powerful, yet elegant palate has lovely raspberry and blackberry flavours with silky tannins and wonderful texture. This wine is perfect with red meat right now but will harmonise further in bottle over the next 5-10 years.
For best enjoyment, let breathe for an hour before serving. As this wine was minimally filtered, some harmless crystals could form in time.
