This wine was made entirely from fruit grown in our Bowral Vineyards.
Bright Riesling aromas of green apple, lime, and apple blossom precede a gloriously balanced, zesty and juicy palate. Lively palate flavours of freshly crushed green apple and lime sherbet exhilarate the senses before the long, clean and citric finish.
This wine has a slight spritz from preserving the CO2 from fermentation, adding a zingy freshness to the palate.
1012 denotes 10% alcohol and 12g/L of residual sugar, giving an off-dry finish.
As this wine has elevated natural acidity, the residual sugar is barely noticeable, rather providing fruit juice character and fullness on the palate.
It will age extremely well in the next 10+ years.
Fantastic Summer lunch wine due to its low alcohol level, great as an aperitif, and perfect with Asian inspired seafood dishes with chilli and spice.
