The fruit for this wine was grown at our Bridge Creek Vineyard in Orange at an altitude of 850m.
The nose shows lovely fresh cherry/plum/blueberry fruit without much oak influence in order to highlight the seductive fruit profile.
The palate is soft and supple, with a beautiful fleshy mouthfeel and silky tannins to close.
This is our best Bridge Creek Merlot yet.
A great example of high altitude cool-climate Merlot grapes ripened to perfection in a great year.
Serve with roast lamb and slow-cooked beef dishes. Drink now to 2023.
