The fruit in our latest Reserve Shiraz is grown at Angullong vineyard in Orange NSW, at 660m altitude. This vintage shows ripe and concentrated Shiraz character as a result of warm and dry growing conditions throughout the 2016 season.
There are seductive aromas of blackberry, spiced dark plum, black olive, mocha and licorice.
The full-bodied and concentrated palate has beautiful ripe flavours and texture with just the right amount of silky, ripe tannin. This vintage shows excellent mid-palate weight and flesh as a result of the warm and dry conditions allowing the fruit to reach optimum ripeness.
This wine is perfect with red meat right now but will harmonise further in bottle over the next few years. A harmless deposit could form due to minimal filtration.
For best enjoyment, remove cork and let breathe for an hour before serving.
Drink now until 2024.
