Description
Centennial Vineyards 2014 Museum Reserve Shiraz Viognier is grown at Angullong vineyard in Orange NSW, at 660m altitude. This wine is a blend of 97% Shiraz with 3% Viognier.
Viognier is included to provide heightened aromatic complexity, and to contribute texture to the palate. Some aged characters coming through in form of leather, dried fruits.
There is still lovely fruit there – sweet black fruits, together with dark chocolate. The palate is beautiful, with silky smooth tannins, lovely harmony, excellent fleshy mid palate.
This wine has aged very well. A joy to drink, great wine.
