The fruit in our Limited Release Shiraz is grown at Moppity Vineyard, Hilltops NSW, at 500m altitude. Vines were cropped very lowly producing impeccable ripe fruit – only 190 dozen were produced. Reduced tonnages together with a warm/dry vintage has produced ripe and powerful Shiraz character with great concentration.
There are full and seductive aromas of cocoa, chocolate, blackberry, spicy dark plum, and a sprinkling of ripe herbs.
The concentrated palate has beautiful ripe fruit flavours with ripe tannins and wonderful texture.
This wine is perfect with red meat right now but will harmonise further in bottle over the next 5 years.
For best enjoyment, open bottle and let breathe for an hour before serving. As this wine was minimally filtered, some harmless crystal have formed.
Drink now until 2030.
