NV Sparkling Shiraz

The wine was then aged on yeast lees for 12 months before disgorging and labelling. The nose is rich and intense with blackberry, dark plum, coffee and spice, and an attractive freshness. The vibrant blackberry and spice characters continue through to the palate creating an elegant, medium-bodied style with lovely richness. The wine finishes with a lick of chocolate-like tannin which balances against the sweetness.

This wine is the perfect party starter, for celebrating over Christmas dinner, or just about any time really! Perfect with roast turkey, duck, glazed ham, and strong cheeses. Price: $34.99

The 2024 House Block Pinot Noir has cherry, earth and rhubarb aromas, supportive mineral oak with some spicy herb characters. The light-bodied palate features spicy cherry compote flavours and a lovely soft, silky texture. Partial wild fermentation using indigenous grape yeast and maturation in new and seasoned French oak has added texture to this gentle, and easy drinking style. 2019 Reserve Rondinella Corvina

Our 2019 Reserve Bridge Creek Rondinella Corvina is crafted from two unique Italian red varietals grown at our Bridge Creek vineyard in Orange, NSW at an altitude of 850m.

These varietals are Rondinella & Corvina and are traditionally grown in the Veneto region in north eastern Italy, where they are predominantly used to produce the classic Amarone and Valpollicella wine styles.

We are one of only two growers in Australia of these classic and very unique varietals. The classic Ripasso della Valpolicella wine styles are the inspiration for this unique and delicious wine whereby the inclusion of partially dried grapes (dried using a prune dehydrator) to the ferment has concentrated the must, adding prune, dried cherry, fruitcake, ripe brown spices, chocolate/coffee aromas and a textural, velvety palate. Delicious, juicy, dried cherry chocolate flavours feature throughout the palate whilst requisite ripe, silky tannins assure partnership with food.

Best enjoyed below room temperature, ideally 15-17 celsius. Great with osso bucco. Drink now to 2030. Price: $36.99

2023 Reserve Shiraz Viognier

Sourced from the Angullong vineyard in Orange, NSW, at 660m elevation, this wine reflects the elegance and detail that the cooler growing conditions brought to the 2023 vintage.

This wine is a blend of 96% Shiraz, co-fermented with 4% Viognier. Viognier is included to enhance aromatic complexity, and to contribute palate texture. The perfumed and detailed nose offers black cherry, plum, blackberry, Chinese five spice, and a hint of coffee & caramel nougat. The medium-bodied palate has beautifully ripe blackberry and black cherry flavours with a lovely lacing of ripe, silky tannin. This vintage shows fantastic natural balance and drinkability making this wine hard to put down. Perfect with red meats, yet fantastic with a casual pizza or pasta. For best enjoyment, let breathe for an hour before serving. This wine will age very well over the next decade. A harmless deposit could form due to minimal filtration. Price. $38.99

2024 Dolce Classico

Crafted from Corvina and Rondinella—two classic Italian varietals grown at 850m on our Bridge Creek vineyard located in Orange, NSW—this wine draws inspiration from the traditional Recioto style of Italy’s Veneto region.

These grapes, most famously used in Amarone, Valpolicella, and Recioto, were partially dried using a prune dehydrator to intensify flavour, texture, and natural sweetness. We are one of only two Australian growers of these varietals, and as far as we know, the only producer of this Recioto-style dessert wine.

Inviting aromas of blackberry, prune, fruitcake, walnut, licorice, and brown spice lead into a rich, velvety palate. With 135g/L of residual sugar balanced by elevated natural acidity, the wine is opulent yet finely poised, finishing with exceptional length and detail. Perfect with chocolate-based desserts—or simply as dessert on its own. Price: $39.99

About Centennial Vineyards

Centennial Vineyards is dedicated to cool climate grape growing and winemaking, leveraging high altitude to foster a cooler climate that allows our vines to ripen more slowly and evenly. This results in balanced, aromatic fruit and exceptional wines.

Sustainability is central to our approach. Our winery, farm, and Cellar Door are primarily powered by solar energy. We embrace regenerative farming techniques to enhance soil health and wine quality, focusing on composting and sustainable soil practices to keep our vineyard’s soil fertile and productive. We also strive to adhere to organic practices whenever possible. Our barrels are temperature-controlled in an underground cellar, which maintains a stable environment ideal for maturation. This cool, consistent temperature is crucial for the aging process, ensuring the production of premium quality wines.

Our Bowral estate spans 320 acres at an elevation of over 760 meters, with 60 acres dedicated to a diverse range of varieties including Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Albariño, and traditional Champagne varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier.

Additionally, we own 45 acres in Orange, with 14 acres currently under vine. Orange is a cool-climate region with vineyards reaching up to 1200 meters in elevation—the highest in Australia. Our Bridge Creek vineyard, located at 850 meters, benefits from ample afternoon sun and dry, continental weather, which supports the ripening of varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rondinella, Corvina, Mencía, and Shiraz. Rondinella and Corvina are rare Italian grape varieties, and we are one of only two growers of these unique grapes in Australia.

In certain years, we also source fruit from other NSW vineyards.

Our commitment to quality is evident in the numerous international and national awards our wines have received.

Each year, we host multiple 'A Day on The Green' events at our Bowral estate, featuring both local and international acts and drawing up to 14,000 guests.
