Centennial Vineyards Celebrates Outstanding 2027 Halliday Wine Companion Results

We’re raising a glass to an outstanding year in the2027 Halliday Wine Companion, with more than 20 Centennial Vineyards wines awarded Bronze or higher, including a standout collection of Gold-rated traditional-method sparklings.

The results are a wonderful recognition of the quality, consistency and diversity of our cool-climate wines, with our traditional-method sparkling wines taking centre stage.

Gold in the glass

Our traditional-method sparklings have delivered some of the highlights of this year’s results. Most notably, our NV Blanc de Blancs and NV Grande Reserve Blanc de Noirs achieved top honours, both awarded Gold, highlighting the exceptional quality and consistency of our traditional-method sparkling wines.

Made in the cool climate of the Southern Highlands, our sparklings benefit from the region’s naturally high acidity and long, slow ripening conditions, qualities that provide the freshness, structure and finesse needed to produce exceptional traditional-method sparkling wine. From elegant styles through to richer, more complex expressions, these results showcase the versatility of traditional-method sparkling from the Southern Highlands.

And while the sparklings have plenty to celebrate, they’re just part of the story.

More than 20 wines recognised

Across the Centennial Vineyards range, more than 20 wines received Bronze ratings or higher in the 2027 Halliday Wine Companion.
