The fresh and bright nose shows ripe red apple, lemonade and ripe citrus hints, with complexity gained through the use of a small percentage of old reserve base wine. The palate is light and zesty, initially with lemon flavours, followed by yellow and red apple, making for a superb aperitif at the end of the day. This wine is a non-vintage blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 43% Chardonnay, and 7% Pinot Meunier, all grown in our cool-climate Bowral vineyards at 700m altitude, assembled from many base wines with the majority from the cool 2019 vintage. It has been made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation and ageing on yeast lees for 54 months. The elegant nose reveals subtle and complex aromas with ripe red apple, almond custard, nectarine and pastry. The warm vintage has created a flavoursome and powerful style with ripe acidity, red apple and ripe grapefruit palate flavours finishing clean and dry. Great wine, and fantastic as an aperitif! Our estate-grown Pinot Gris vines yield wines of varying styles depending on the season—ranging from a light, refreshing Pinot Grigio to a richer, more textured Pinot Gris. In 2024, the Winery Block vines exclusively produced a vibrant Pinot Grigio. To enhance aromatic and textural complexity, a small portion of the wine was wild-fermented in neutral French oak barrels. The resulting wine exhibits enticing aromas of fresh red and green apple, complemented by subtle hints of kiwifruit. On the palate, the wine is crisp and lively, showcasing bright red apple and kiwifruit flavours that extend through a zesty, satisfying finish. This Pinot Grigio is remarkably refreshing and dangerously easy to drink, making it an ideal choice for summer enjoyment. Best enjoyed now through 2028, it pairs beautifully with fresh seafood and seasonal salads.

This wine was made entirely from fruit grown here at the Winery Block in Bowral, and is our fourth Albarino release. Albarino is traditionally grown in Spain and Portugal, and tends to produce a clean and citrussy style with high natural acidity and moderate alcohol levels. It’s refreshing, zesty flavours accompany seafood well. To add both aromatic and textural complexity, 33% was fermented on full lees in old French Oak. On the nose there are malty, leesy aromas showing some old barrel ageing, together with citrussy grapefruit, and subtle floral notes. The energetic and very lively palate has crisp citrussy acid running alongside the mandarin, tangerine and grapefruit flavours. The lees ageing has added texture and volume resulting in an excellent summer wine. Drink now to 2035. Best served with fresh summer seafood and salads.

This wine was grown at our Bridge Creek Vineyard, Orange, NSW, at 880m altitude, and is our second Chardonnay release from this site. Vines were cropped lowly in the very cool 2023 growing season producing beautiful, clean fruit with wonderful cool-climate acidity. Reserve Bridge Creek Chardonnay is a celebration of our elevated vineyard in Orange and tends to be a very pure expression of Chardonnay with wonderful elegance and acidity. Traditional winemaking techniques are used to enhance complexity and balance, and only the best barrels make it into the final blend. The growing season was much cooler than average resulting in citrussy flavours and excellent natural acid retention. Whole bunch pressing followed by wild fermentation of high solids juice in top quality French oak barrels has added spice, wax and hints of grilled nut and nougat aromas to the citrus and stone fruit core. The finely honed and pure palate has fantastic grapefruit and nectarine flavours together with supporting textural interest. An elegant, energetic, focussed and complex cool-climate Chardonnay style that partners well with coq au vin, roast chicken and veal.  Great drinking at the moment, but will gain further harmony in time.
